Eco Friendly Labels

Label Impressions logo

I’ve been on a mission here at Sustainable Printing to introduce innovative products and services in the printing industry to my readers.   I have told print buyers about BioFlex biodegradable banners and Tyvek recyclable banners.  I’ve introduced them to eco friendly office supplies from Sustainable Group and listed some tree-free paper choices on the market.  Well, today, I am happy to talk about a great company I found called Label Impressions.

Label Impressions Inc. is a California company that offers many unique labels in an environmentally responsible way.  Not only is Label Impressions FSC certified, but they also achieved Carbon Neutral status as verified through CarbonFund.org.  While their certifications and awards are impressive, I want to talk more about the amazing ecofriendly labels they offer.

Label Impressions offers a wide variety of recycled stock options with between 10-100% PCW content.  They also have label stocks that mix traditional tree pulp with alternative fibers such as from sugar cane or bamboo, up to 50%.  Label Impressions even offers Earth First (a corn-based biodegradable label) and FiberStone labels made from, you guessed it, stone.

What makes FiberStone so great is that it is made entirely tree-free.  Composed of 80% Calcium Carbonate from limestone, FiberStone paper and labels are untearable.  While the stocks are naturally waterproof, no water is used to make them and no chemical bleaching process occurs.  If your company is looking for sustainability and durability, FiberStone is a sure thing.

I encourage you to explore all that Label Impressions has to offer.  If your company needs product labels that reflect your eco-ethics, Label Impressions has an environmentally friendly option that will fit your needs and your budget.
