Neenah Paper - Promo Follow Up
A few weeks ago on Sustainable Printing, I wrote about Neenah Paper’s Do You Love Linen promotion. I signed up to receive some samples, and they arrived at my door less than a week later. I’ve been meaning to post my thoughts, but have not had the time to write about it until now.
Not only did I receive my 3 printed samples, but also the Neenah Paper linen swatchbook. The swatchbook is an amazing piece of printed material that can only be described as luxurious. Printed on a variety of Neenah’s linen paper options, the colors are rich and vibrant and truly display how beautiful print can be.
Of course, my main interest is in the recycled content of the linen papers. The entire line is FSC certified and made carbon neutral. 2 color options come in 100% PCW content and another 10 have at least 30% PCW content. Not too shabby, however a few of the recycled papers are very dark colors (Burgundy, Canyon Brown, Charcoal and Epic Black), which probably aren’t used very often.
Still, Neenah’s linen stocks have an option for every kind of printing. These papers are beautiful for offset printing and a few selections are available for digital printing. Neenah’s swatchbook even provides samples printed from digital presses right next to the same samples printed on offset. In my opinion, the digital printing looks brighter and sharper.
Linen papers can take any print project and “step it up a notch.” If you or your company is looking for letterhead, invitations or formal marketing materials, check to see if your printer offers any of Neenah Papers linen line. If they don’t, have them order some samples like I did at the Do You Love Linen website.
